The First Step ia a tool for our members and our descendants to create a better future by executing business enterprises owned and controlled by the very members that they serve.
What Differentiates us from Other Organisations
Our contributors share a unique set of principles which united us to meet common economic, social, cultural needs and aspirations through a forward-thinking organization. Our contributors have committed to contribute a minimum of R10 a month to raise funds to achieve the short and long term goals and objectives.
We are a network of individual professionals who share the same vision and use our professional skills and qualifications to contribute to shaping the future of the youth and the organizations vision. We also support the contributors’ businesses, ensuring that money rotates within our network and the contributors benefit from the support and opportunities created by ourselves. We believe in the ethical values of honesty, transparency, social responsibility, and concern for others.
The First Step Goals aims to build communities that are conflict free, enhance social cohesion and promote social economic development within our communities. Our vision is to grow our network and spread our footprint across the continent.
Agriculture can help reduce poverty, raise incomes and improve food security for 80% of the world’s poor, who live in rural areas and work mainly in farming. Agriculture impacts society in many ways including supporting livelihoods through food, habitat, and jobs; providing raw materials for food and other products; and building strong economies through trade. The First Step aims to encourage youth to start farming and agriculture in order to support their communities.
So much has changed in the world and the future is exciting and challenging. We require a new level of intellectual engagement in schools in order to keep up with the pace of the ever-growing technological landscape and globalization process.
The First Step Academy we are designing our curriculum to challenge and engage students through a variety of academic, social and ethical activities to nurture individual talents and interests in order to transform the students passions into a career. Our unique curriculum will help students to develop original thinking, competency and leadership skills to help them realize their part in community building and development process.
Each subject has a structured lesson plan that has been created by professionally trained and qualified teachers. We provide students with the freedom to choose and develop different interests, hone their skills and shoulder responsibilities through participatory and leadership approach. The First Step Academy launch will be announced in due time.
What sets us apart from other Organisations out there, is that we do not believe in solving social economic challenges with donations or hand-outs. We believe in sustainable development and providing our people with the skills and resources to sustain themselves. Job creation; skills development; business funding; and ensuring continuous development and financial independence of our neighboring countries and beyond.

We donate a minimum of R10.00 a month in order to achieve the following but not limited objectives and goals:
Mission and Strategy
- End poverty and unemployment within our communities by ensuring sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment for the youth.
- Promote sustainable agriculture, achieve food security and improved nutrition in Africa.
- Quality education which promotes entrepreneurship and skills development
- Achieve gender equality by pushing for more female in executive leadership and senior management roles and to close the pay gap between men and women.
- Promote diligence, transparency, honesty and excellent customer service in all our businesses and projects.
